Let's start the journey of a beautiful city which is also known as Music City. I will tell you why.

I am not going to tell you the history of this city as this is available on Wikipedia. OK let's come forward to the question - Why this city is known as Music City?
All of us are aware of the world-famous singer Tansen. He was born in a small village i.e. Behat near Gwalior in 1506 in the family of Shri Mukund Mishra. He took the music training from his music teacher Shree Haridas Swami and started singing in the same city and because of this Gwalior is also known as Music City. Gwalior is also having a music university where one can do a degree course in the same. Tansen Samaroh celebrated every year in the month of December in Behat village of Gwalior district, Madhya Pradesh. It is a 4 day musical extravaganza. Artist and music lovers from all over the world gather here to pay tribute to the Great Indian Musical Maestro Tansen.
